- Christine McComas / Grace's Law Speaks Out On Cyberbullying

Cyberbyte | Season 1

Christine McComas, mother to Grace McComas, and voice behind Grace's Law, accepted the Challenge. Grace's Law in Maryland, named in memory of Grace McComas, passed in 2013. Just recently a bill Senate Bill 726, dubbed Grace's Law 2.0, made it through the Senate unanimously, and likely had the votes to pass but was sidetracked by a House Committee Chairman who wouldn't allow a vote. This needed bill would have expanded the child protective reach that Grace's Law, and Texas legislation, dubbed "David's Law," have yet to cover, including cover real life consequences for inducing another to fatally harm themselves, the wide-sharing of intimate photos and sextortion by those hiding behind fake profiles.
